Hello What is the difference between the formations marked as "(RTW + BI)" and "(alexander only)"?

I play with alex.exe and I ask....What should I use? "Default (RTW+BI) or "Default (alexander only)" , because I'm not sure what it means exactly, difference between this.

I'd like to know something about formations also.

I'm using Darth, Alex only and like it.

The ai usually forms multiple lines and so have some depth but I would be interested in other peoples experiences with other formations.

I always make a custom formation for my own troops which looks similar to the DarthMod formation for the Romans (but I have much smaller gaps).
