    Default AUTO GARRISON SUCKS

    For the love of all that is holy, is there ANY way to disable auto garrison?? I loathe & detest it. So I'm down to 5 Hoplites & a scabby horse called Kevin & I should be allowed an honourable defeat. End of. But nooooooo, all of a sudden millions of garrison troops appear & I inadvertently beat off what should be a victorious enemy. Talk about stringing things out! Help!!

    Are they mainly levies cuz if not than I agree with you, but if yes than this can be considered realistic.

    There are mods that remove garrisons entirely. Check out the Mod forum.
