Played time manipluation (on steam)

In the light of the massive criticisms of R2TW I though it might actually be a way to puff up the statistics (they are using steam stats to silence critics).
However I have now confirmed that this is a steam bug. I would ask admins to remove or close the thread. Thanks all.

Just checked. Nope. 150 hours Tuesday night, 173 hours today, seems about right.

I can confirm this: the "hours played" Steam is reporting are at least 3X than the actual ones...
Other games i have currently installed are reporting the right time.

There could be some problem with the play hours, but the way it was presented as a CT was just hilarious. I lost a bunch of hours then today it jumped up, I don't know if it's a bug or they tried to fix the hours I lost or what.

This is totally not Steam or, the most likely case, people with confirmed bias, problem. But a Sega/CA ploy to get people's number of hours of play time to increase.

This is a bug on steam, happens to me on all my games. I f you press play now it refreshes and goes back to the normal play time. Nothing to see here.

You can watch the hours played on steam pass by, while just having it 'open'

I hate how steam depicts this number. Always makes me feel like 'damn I need to do something else than playing a video game'
