So I went on shogun 2 earlier after a year of not playing it. A few things stood out to me most noticeably was the fact the game looked nicer and runs smoother than Rome 2, but then I noticed drop-in battles.
When I first got Shogun 2 the idea of another player taking over the AI's units intrigued me, since a human will almost 100% give you a better battle than the AI ever will. I loved this idea of drop-in battles. Not that anyone dropped in to any of my battles I still thought it was a good idea and that CA may improve upon this feature for the next release.
I'm just perplexed at why this isn't in Rome 2, I mean you could have some epic battles if someone dropped in to take control of 5000 barbarians against your 5000 Romans.
Does anyone know why this was left out? or does anyone else wish they'd of improved upon it like I do?
