How do you change the game's language?

I have it in spanish, but want it in english so that the names of a unit mod will show up.
I have tried changing the language en Steam (Rome II-Properties-Language) but after a 1Gb download it just started in spanish.

I tried it in german, but the voices were so terrible that I changed it immediately to english. I went to the steam library, right click on the game, properties, language, english. After that, a patch installed and the game was in english.

It seems you tried the same. If it didn´t work, you might try to uninstall the game and have it install in english from scratch. You should be able to select the language for installation again IIRC.

Just asking, what is "the men are wavering" or "the men flee the field of battle. a shameful display" in spanish? Probably a bit more colourful.
