Default Help finding the right tutorials

    Hello all,

I'm interested in putting together my own little mini mod of sorts, but I haven't done any modding with a TW title since Napoleon, so I think I'm going to need a little help.

My goal is to make a more uniform and possibly historical looking Roman army (Post-Marian). For this I intend to take out all of the Lorica Segmentata from the Legionary Cohort/Eagle Cohort/Evocatii Cohorts, and then, if possible make Armored Eagle and Evocatii Cohorts. I also would like to be able to increase the size of the First/Eagle/Armored Eagle Cohorts, while reducing the size of the Triarii. I would like to be able to have the numbers based on the Ultra (whatever is max, 160 man units), so the Triarii should be 80 while the First/Eagles should be around 320.

My concerns are that making such large units would be problematic, especially for any naval or amphibious landing battles where maybe not everyone would fit on the ships.

If I can I would also prevent the Triarii from upgrading to Veteran Legionaries, and have them just upgrade to regular Legionaries.

I understand this is not exactly a simple request and will probably take a good deal of reading and trial and error on my part, but if some one can direct me to the right locations I would love to get started. Thanks!
