How to lose the clock and get a standarded shiny shield?

Hi I am a greenhorn in modding, can't event find the variantmeshdefinition file Just trying to modify spartan hero a little bit and would really appreciate if anyone can help me with:

1. how do I make it lose the cloak

2. all the shields hero of spartans are holding are kind of "dull" in color except for the shiny one officer is holding, how can I make everyone holding the same?
