Default General portrait/model editting (somewhat of a tutorial + the problem I'm having with it)

There is a reason this isn't in the "Tutorials" forum. But, first of all, if you want to change what portrait and model (as they're tied together) a general has, it is in this location in both the Startpos.esf and the save game files:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    ...>Compressed_Data>Campaign_ENV>Campaign_Model>World>Faction_Array>Faction_Array - #>Faction>Character_Array>Character_Array - #> Character>Character_Details

The "#" corresponds to what faction and character. With factions, the first few are the playable ones, and in save files, #0 is the one you're playing as. Anyway, when you click on "Character_Details", to the right, second row to the bottom, there will be a line that says "General_#". THAT is what card and model the character uses (even in the case of ministers, like women, "Female_Minister_#", or agents, which will just have the agent type). For generals with numbers under 50, they are one number ABOVE the actual ui>portrait>japanese>general unit card they're using, since there is no "General_00" and there IS a 000.tga (so, the general in the picture actually uses card #29). For numbers above 50, strangely they seem to correspond exactly to the number of the card they use. I dont know which one was skipped for this to happen.

When you open up the "Character_Details" folder, there is another inside called "Portrait_Details". This doesn't seem to do anything. In fact, it read a different number entirely (it was originally 14 for that character in the image above. That's not even CLOSE to the card and model it uses in-game. Before I found the "General_#" thing, I tried editing the Portrait_Details, and, obviously, it did nothing.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

So, all that was to get everyone on the same page as me while I ask this doozy of a question:
Where the heck does "General_#" point to? Clearly all the Gen_Taisho variant models are made and stored somewhere, as they look exactly like the unit card that was drawn for them. I need to know where, and I cant find it. I have made a mod (similar to Furinkazan) that changes the portraits of cards that the game seems to rarely use for the custom generals of my custom clan to use, and that works fine, but I dont want to be stuck with the stock character models that are tied to those cards I changed. I picked cards that had models that would look okay with the characters I was going for, but still... I'd like to make 81, 82, and 83 cards with models to go along with them, so that I'm not overwriting any of the normal ones. If that's impossible, then I want to FULLY edit the model of an already existing Gen_Taisho variant.
===EDIT===Herp derp I found them. I dont know HOW I overlooked them. They're in the models2.pack. For some reason, I passed over 80 freaking files multiple times without seeing them.
Wat is this I dont even (But my point not striked out still stands. I do want to make new general numbers. I'll be experimenting with that) (also, my point below is still an issue)===End of Edit===

Also, I want to make custom wife cards. At the moment, I have replaced the 000 and 002 wife cards with custom ones to fit with my custom clan, but since there are only 5 wife cards in all, other female adults in the game will also have those cards (at least 2/5 of the time). If I add extra cards, like 005 and 006 cards, the game refuses to use them. Any number I put in their "Female_Minister_#" slot just uses one of the stock ones. Strangely, while there are only 000-004 in the stock cards, one of my female ministers had "Female_Minister_05" auto-assigned. I would have thought that it was like the general's ones where it was one number higher than its ACTUAL number, but no. The other female in my character line-up used "Female_Minister_00". So the game gave her a card that didn't exist. But in-game, she was using card 001. That doesn't make any sense to me.

So, could there be a way of adding NEW wife cards as well as adding new general cards/models (I'll be working on the generals myself as well)?
