    Default Improving Graphical Performance

    Hi guys,

I just thought I'd share this link with you as I've been waiting for a patch to fix my graphics when all along it was within my own power!

I hope that improves the game for some of you, I'm looking forward to playing later with one of the more annoying aspects of my game (I haven't played for that long) much improved.

I formatted my comp and got +20 fps at the same options from pre format from 42 average to 61 average. Every other game worked fine, i benched Shogun 2, Crysis 1, Witcher2, heavily modded Skyrim and heavily modded New Vegas, and after format there is a -2 to +2 fps change for each so none dramatically changed. I susepct the culprit was just a driver hangover from when i updated to the new AMD beta drivers (although i followed normal procedures using cleaners etc).

Using no shadows ('Low'), extreme textures, unit details, no SSAO, Distortion, AA on, Antisotropic 2x, medium grass, everything else high-very high. To be honest all the opther options i have on high/very high i cant tell any difference no matter what option they are on and they dont seem to effect fps.

Setting the affinity will raise the FPS and give you a better game if you got quad.
Proculus: Divine Caesar, PLEASE! What have I done? Why am I here?
    Caligula: Treason!
Proculus: Treason? I have always been loyal to you!
Caligula: [laughs insanely] That IS your treason! You're an honest man, Proculus, which means a bad Roman! Therefore, you are a traitor! Logical, hmm? Ha, ha, ha!
