Custom officer

Hi, as you may know, i am a shogun 2 modder.

Well, i followed a tutorial about how to make a unit in rome 2 but that information was wrong, so i had to invest and i found how to do a new unit.

But i have a problem with their look and the officers, soldiers, bearers... I dont understand how to do it yet.

As an easy start, i would like to take the greek champion and place it as an officer of a unit, lets say "spartan heroes".

Also, i would like to know how to do small changes to units, like, for example, i want the spartan heroes to fight with swords and not to have a cloak.

I have read all the tutorials about how to do that but yet i dont know how to do it. If someone could help me i would thank it a lot.
