    Default Just visited Sparta.

I not often look at how building detail are in a game but I am quite surprised after spent a few second today to look at them. This is the temple at the top of the city. just look at this they have those things look so real

I also didn't notice that Sparta have some sort of Military camp up above here before.

I am a little disappointed to found that there is no Colossus statue after Rhodes battle. Still I kinda want to find out how many cities that have Unique look in game so I have a plan to visit Carthage next.

And that isn´t even the worst historical mistake. You probably know the "pirate queen" loading screen. Said piratess is wearing a gipsy-style shoulder-free top, romanic armour and gallic armlets - not to mention her hairdo, which looks suspiciously modern. And next to her is a dude in full hoplite armour.

WTF indeed. Why does everyone feel the need to insert fighter chicks into games and movies, and why is it done so badly?

My guess would have been that they tried to picture this woman:

Though not historically plausible, of course. CA stated more than once that they rather go for a Hollywood-esque style, and this seems to be a perfect example. Just wait for the 300 sequel to come out...

It´s about the design of the columns.

I believe doric means vanilla whereas ionic is where they add a cinnamon swirley on top.

Doric order can been seen as austere, frugal while Ionian lighter, elegant and playful.
Quem faz injúria vil e sem razão,Com forças e poder em que está posto,Não vence; que a vitória verdadeira É saber ter justiça nua e inteira-He who, solely to oppress,Employs or martial force, or power, achieves No victory; but a true victory Is gained, when justice triumphs and prevails.

Given the OCD-level attention to irrelevant historical detail on this forum, I can't tell if those criticisms about columns are real or just sarcastic.

    Is it ugly? No..

    Is it impressive?

Given that it's been nearly 10 years since Rome 1, I must say I personally don't think this is an impressive level of detail.
The game development business is one of bottomless greed, pitiless cruelty, venal treachery, rampant competition, low politics and boundless personal ambition. New game series are rising, and others are starting their long slide into obscurity and defeat.

I am not even run the game in ultra you know not mention Extreme can be better. It may not look like you expect because my rig quite bad compare to a lot of people here.
I am not sure how will it look like if I have a better rig.

My PC spec: i3 2100 with only 4GB ram bus 1333 and a HD7770 can only run a few things at Ultra the rest have to be set at normal or low . I not even have a SSD so it will be much slower than most of you guys.

But honestly I am having fun here 425 hours with Rome 2 already

    Sorry Chloe.

I just get my ass to Antioch but sadly the Celt took it already and they build a Barbarian town on top of it.
    I hate that.
