CTD's with Ents! - I'm back!

Hello!

Have you tried to test some other Video card on your system and see how it works?

Your savegames always worked for me, so it only means something at your end causes issues when using Ents.

I'm actually having trouble updating my video card. I looked it up and it seems that the problem isn't too uncommon. They're instructions were just way too broad, and the other things I found didn't help.

I'm just going to uninstall the drivers and install them back, I'll let you know how that goes.

Booted comp in safe mood and uninstalled manually since when I installed the update it didn't do it properly before. Rebooted, installed, rebooted.

.... It works...

Just to be sure, make couple of tests and see how it works.

It did crash 2 times on me on a battle i was trying to do, but on the third try it ran fine, and up until now its been running fine. I was able to siege a castle with 4 Ent units, and in fact right now im defending Dol Guldur with an Ent unit along with many elite archers while the enemy has 2 seperate armies with trolls and the works that even out to about 6000+ on their side and about 1200 on mine.

Is it fair to say that my avy should be an Ent? lol

I see you are a fellow Elf lover so you understand my need for these Ents to work for me all this time. hahahaha

Problem has begun anew, deep in my Silvan Elves campaign too. It's not letting me play a battle that has 7 Ent units in it.

Lower all your Video settings, disable antialiasing, disable all shadows, lower unit details and vegetation details too, maybe that could help.

I have exactly the same problem. It's random and more likely to work if I restart M2TW and enter the battle directly.

It's not just Ents, but also Sauron, Balrog, Spiders, as well as Drakes in PCP - basically all big non-human/trolls/warg units.

My gfx chip is Radeon 7770.
