Default Do YOU believe CA will listen to the people?

I'm creating this poll to see how many of us, the plebs you might say, actually believe the Creative Assembly will add features to the game. Features like the family tree, more noticable generals like before, a revamp of the Roman political system, the guard mode and so on. For myself, I truly hope so. But do I believe it? That's what the purpose of this poll is. Have your say, Romans!
    Feel free to discuss.

ONly if their potential cash intake is threatened.

Do you really think that after ALL these years with forumers clammering asking for Rome 2 (even I got tired of hearing it) giving suggestions and ideas and CA totally IGNORING it that they`ll pay any special attention now without a direct cash benefit?

    Get with the times, man.
Most likely they`ll string everyone along with `maybe, `possibly`, `we hear what you say and care` and spew out useless DLCS designed for 10 years olds to shout `cool` at like an Amazons burning hair faction.

They don`t listen to forumers, if they had Rome 2 would have been an incredible joy to behold.

I think Humble has said it best.

I voted for "CA will listen to a certain extent, but only change lesser things", because I believe they will paper over the worst cracks - as a means to justify selling DLC.
I'm beginning to doubt there will ever be another decent TW title.

It won't let me vote or Idk how to. Anyways I do think CA is listening, and has already made some changes. It's getting better (too bad they didn't completley remove the flag) but it's still not s2

I voted "only lesser changes". To explain: Yes, I hope and believe they will change this and that with patches, but only minor issues that can be adressed with patches. So, battle field flags may be reduced, but their will be no revamp of political system + family tree "by patch".

If SEGA gives CA the time and money, its not in CA's hands.

Not before the expansion pack. Unluckily CA is following a dangerous path. Total War series needs a completely re-planning that finds a better trade-off between SEGA and customers needs.

Voted that they will only change lesser things. I'm sure they have a few metacritic casualties laying around the office that just need a bit of polish. Honestly I'd hoped we would of been a bit further along in the patching process by now so that we can start discussing some of the design flaws as opposed to still beta testing. Time is money and SEGA isn't going to let them dilly dally on 'minor' stuff like a family tree for long.

I do believe (and hope) that the devs listen, but the realist in me.. ..doubts what they will actually deliver.

Only minor stuff like they did now. This game will never get fixed unless a highly polished expansion comes out with new features (or should I say originally cut features).

listening and doing something about it after is totally different. having a 5 ppl community team is almost a guarantee that they read this forum. who knows if they pass on what they read here and how much. they could be here to manage us on top of passing on info

“The only rule that ever made sense to me I learned from a history, not an economics, professor at Wharton. "Fear," he used to say, "fear is the most valuable commodity in the universe." That blew me away. "Turn on the TV," he'd say. "What are you seeing? People selling their products? No. People selling the fear of you having to live without their products." freakin' A, was he right. Fear of aging, fear of loneliness, fear of poverty, fear of failure. Fear is the most basic emotion we have. Fear is primal. Fear sells.” WWZ

The first two if you bothered to read.

I voted 2nd option, they listen to a certain extent and address smaller issues.

Damage control aside why exactly should CA do anything now? They have likely earned their targetted profit and are already planning the next cash cow (Total War: Caesar, yeah I'm calling that).

Maybe they're even asking SEGA for another 40% budget raise...
