Year display box above the minimap.

Apologies if I'm posting this in the wrong place.

How can I get the year to show up above the map? I have the wooden box, but it's empty.

An example being Satrio Eko's post, second from the top in the following thread:

I've tried googling and searching here, but my searching skills must be lacking, as the only thing I can find is a way to replace the turns with years. I don't think that's what I'm looking for as I have both. I even thought I might have a botched install, so I uninstalled M2TW and kingdoms, reinstalled fresh, and redownloaded/reinstalled SS6.3+6.4. Is this a mod? Is my game hopelessly corrupted? Or am I simply missing some simple toggle box in options.

I'm in a battle now so I'll edit this post if wrong, but I'm pretty sure that it's either at the left or right of the screen. I can see both my turns and years.

EDIT: Having looked at that photo you linked, he's got the year above his mini-map too, so I'm guessing you're using his pic as a reference for where the year should be vs. using it as an example of the year not being there (since it is) My guess is just a dodgy install.
