Default Patch 4 is stopping my Total War Rome II from working :(

    Getting message :

TOTAL WAR: ROME @ has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

3rd time I get this CA - What is the solution please?

I've had this happen too. I had to reinstall. I loved to post on their forums but I just can't seem to get a confirmation email for registration. So I just reinstalled.

Before you do though, wait for other people's responses to see if there are any much more convenient alternatives.

have you got any mods installed, quite a few will cause the game to crash after the 4th patch however most modders have updated.

If you have any installed then just update them to the latest versions.
If you work to earn a living, why then do you work yourself to death?

I get freezes occasionally and have to bring up task manager. Then I reboot the game and continue playing. My guess is the overloaded CPU.
Proculus: Divine Caesar, PLEASE! What have I done? Why am I here?
    Caligula: Treason!
Proculus: Treason? I have always been loyal to you!
Caligula: [laughs insanely] That IS your treason! You're an honest man, Proculus, which means a bad Roman! Therefore, you are a traitor! Logical, hmm? Ha, ha, ha!
