    Icon5 Removing technologies from factions/cultures (?)

    I find it really quite irritating that all sorts of Celts and dreadful Gauls are able to build those huge ballistae. In both the campaigns I've played they've acquired the technology before I (Rome) or any other civilised faction has. I find it silly, "Celtic Ballista".


    I'm wondering whether it's possible to remove their ability to research these technologies.
    Or perhaps just removing the unit would be a better idea? Could someone explain how I'd go about doing this?

    It should be fairly easy to remove those units. I don't have time atm, but I'm sure some of the nice guys in this forum will help you out

    I would really appreciate this too. It is frustrating and unrealistic.

    Could you possibly explain how so that I could make some (probably disastrous) attempt at doing it?
