microsoft library run time error?
now apparently i can't play rome 2 because it freezes everytime and i'm prompted by a run time error. microsoft visual library run time error or something similar. anyways i tried to uninstall microsoft visual c ++ 2008 redstribute x86 and reinstall a new copy of it.. apparently on my add and remove programs i have a whole bunch of those files with different version numbers. should i delete them all but the latest one? anyways, has anyone has this problem? and a possible fix? i'm doing a malaware check on my computer too. i also googled it up, but no help

Re: microsoft library run time error?
Each redistrutable file corresponds to a different piece of software (usually games) that you will have installed at some point IIRC. Removing them is a really bad idea unless you want to see that error on more applications.
\steam\steamapps\common\Total War Rome II\redist
Go to that location on your computer and run the 3 vc_redist.exe's you find there. That may fix your problem
