Can this be done? In my current campaign I'm at the year 220 BCE, playing with two turns per year. So I've been playing for something like one hundred turns and I have had ONE of these 'subjects' show up. So can it be done?

EDIT- Ok, so the subject events all stem from conditions set down in cdir_events_dilemma_option_junctions. Technically, to increase their frequency, one should increase the var chance value, most are set pretty low. I suspect though that further conditions are set elsewhere, as their occurrence seems rarer than one might expect given the stated conditions (with 10% chance, I would expect to have encountered one of these events).
I think the game might keep an eye on how many generals you have and how many you can add to armies, and only keeps the difference in the "pool" so doesn't give you subject events because ultimately you can't have any more subjects. This might also explain why early campaigns tend to get more events as you're still filling out the initial armies and navies. Does anyone know if the generals in the recruit pool ever change?
I'd like to find out how the general pool gets filled in the first place, and what determines their family origin.
