    Default Fine with blood trait

    Hi all,

Is there anyway I can remove or modify the Fine with blood trait because I'm loosing my mind over it... starting a campaign, being surrounded with rebels, it's next to impossible to take a settlement without getting this trait.

I know this has been discussed before, but I just can't seem to find the thread.

Select your general (he has to be out of town though), and open the console. Type remove_trait this Bloodthirsty. Done.

On a side note, here's a handy FAQ about character traits and triggers. It's for vanilla, so some of the SS traits are missing. http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/944126-me...ion/faqs/50116

Great, thank you for this "solution"

I thought this was SS specific trait, didn't play vanilla that much, so I thought it would be easy to modify it.

Well, I know next to nothing about modding, but since no one else has stepped in, I'll try to help out.
Make a backup copy, just in case. I have no idea if this will work

Go to your Med2 folder/mods/SS 6.4/data/export_descr_character_traits.txt. Find the part that starts with "Trait Bloodthirsty" and delete the whole part up to the next trait (it's separated with ----------------). That should remove it from the game altogether.

    Do tell if it works.

No, don't do that, I am fairly certain that it would screw up the game. You also must remove the triggers and all mention of the trait elsewhere, I believe. It would be easier to just remove the triggers, because without them you won't see the trait in game except with starting generals in the game.

jnglist5, as Denethor posted, I don't think your simple solution will work, so I'm not trying it just to get CTD after 40 minute battle it's a vanilla trait so since I also don't have a clue about modding, I'm just sticking with your first suggestion... I don't like using cheats but in this case I'll make an exception, 'coz this trait stole a year of my life every time my character gain it..

    thanks for your help
