Selucids DLC, any news?

So, as far as I can tell it will be released for free as promised but:

When? All the news I've found have stated October / early October, should we not have received any news?
I'm pretty much abstaining from playing as i wait for it, not wanting to overexert my already heavily taxed like for the game after 3 completed legendary runs.

Anyone here able to spread some light?

Well CA said it will come early october, but there have been no official news ever since.

Even though it will be a free DLC, I think CA should make sure they fix the game first.

Why would you want to play this game with the Seleucid empire anyway?
I mean, you would only be bothered about that if you were interested in history and that precludes you playing the vile horror that is TWR2 tm.

they should spend all their resources in fixing and polishing the game right now and then blow us away with new amazing content patches for the game, well i keep dreaming

They've most likely already made the DLC content (as the development culture these days is to make DLC content before release) but it would be a PR disaster if they were to release it at this time. Even though they've likely made it before hand (though they won't publicly say) if it was released many would get the impression that they have been making DLC content when not fixing the game.

Likewise they could just be keeping their cards close to their chest and release the DLC content later when the game is in a better state then charge for it to maximize revenue and do it in a fashion when the negative PR effects would be less

They are not saying anything about DLC because they know how disgusted their customers are.

But, I bet you they are hard at work on DLC and expansion DLC right now and putting money and resources into that.

I assume that its a different team working on DLC as well. The faction is already in the game after all, so they are likely making unique units for them. Those artists likely dont work on bug fixing.
