Default Named and numbered legions as in RS2 possible as a Rome2 mod

Hi all, FYI I posted this over on the RTW2 mods thread.

"With a population of around a million, Rome (in Claudius' time) was a vast city even by modern standards. It is worth pointing out that during the early Renaissance the population of Rome was no more than fifteen thousand-- living amid the ruins of a civilization that dwarfed their own. It was not until the nineteenth century that the population of Rome returned to the levels it had enjoyed under the Caesars. That is eloquent proof of the fact that human history is not a tale of steady progress towards greater knowledge and achievement." Simon Scarrow

This issue, given what I've seen of Rome2 so far, is one that definitely turns me away from it if it is not possible. In fact, I sense (though I may be wrong and am willing to undergo correction), may be an endemic problem with Rome2. I've heard through the grapevine, and somewhere in my reading, that Rome2 has a limit of 700 units. If that is so, then there is a big problem. RTW had a limit of 500 units, spread over 21 factions. That means that each faction could feasibly have 23+ units available to it...give or take. If you even have 50 factions in Rome2 (I haven't counted them, but there seems to be a boatload), then that means you have at best 14 units available to each faction. As you can see, pure math shows that Rome2 has lost something in the writing. The Romans in RS2 have at least 101 units, 56 of which are the named and numbered Legions...cohorts and first cohorts. That would put a pretty big dent in Rome2's abilities.

dvk, what a pity. You'd think they would have been more caring about that which many regard as their flagship game.

Thanks btw for all your efforts on this wonderful mod. It's given me a great deal of fun and enjoyment. You guys are really something.

It is depressing indeed to think what you could have accomplished w/ Rome 2's budget.

Rome 2 is a mess. The false advertising is just a cherry on top. I'm never going to buy another Total War game.

The unit limit in Rome 2 isn't 700, there are more than that in the game currently, and numerous mod unit packs have been released on top of that.

I might be wrong, probably am, but i swear i read somewhere that R2 could have unlimited number of units with modding.
