Wouldn't buy alienware if I were you. If you insist on buying pre-bulit, dell generally have better prices. (Yes, I know that alienware is part of dell)

what other gaming systems do u recommend?
    voodoo, aac?
I don;t really like Dell, and the management of alienware hasn't changed, even though it has been aquired by Dell

Well, I suppose you can spend more money then you have to if that is what you want to do. Heck, I should probably thank you for making everything cheaper for me by buying top of the line stuff all day long.

That is a very nice system, but indeed, the E6600 is the greatest "user-wallet-friendly" (:wink CPU out there. Other than that, that is an excellent system. I wouldn't recommend a pre built, but if you don't wanna build yourself you can always go to a store that offers for example, free building when buying from them or good packages for example with the E6600 as base and then you add parts of your choice and then you can also choose that they install it (for a fee, usually 15€ around here, may be 10-15$ too)

No. The greatest "user-wallet-friendly" is the E6300.

By "user-wallet-friendly" I meant those that do not cost 1K €, ie the FX-62 and the X-something Intel CPU.

Well, by "wallet-friendly" I mean the best bang for the buck.

I know, I should've said something else, like "best of the CPU's that are for regular flesh&bones"...

    Eh?
