Basically i think it should take longer to Romanize/Hellenize etc. a province/city but i don't know where to start. Anyone want to point me in the right direction (or just tell me how)?

Were there but a tree in this godforsaken place i would have hanged myself.
The table you might want is /db/religion_conversion_mods_tables/religion_conversion_mods. There are values in there that may have to do with conversion.

Totally agree with you smoesville, cultural conversion happens way to fast. If you manage to modify the files, please share!![]()
I just made a small mod that decreases cultural conversion rates. I will test it and if it works well I will post it.
Double post.

Have you figured out what the figures actually mean? 1 seems to be the highest but i'm not sure how much percent/turn that translates to ingame?

alhoon is not a member of the infamous Hoons: a (fictional) nazi-sympathizer KKK clan. Of course, no Hoon would openly admit affiliation to the uninitiated.
"Angry Uncle Gordon" describes me well.

Can you give an example, personally i've only played as the Iceni so far and i've been fighting Celts so there's been no issues. How long do you reckon it takes to hellenize/Latinize a Celtic city? I think it should take about 10-15 between the Latins and Greeks, while say the Gauls would take nearly 35 years or longer. The Gauls for instance were under the control of Rome for decades before they started to settle down and it would have taken longer still before they became Romanised (adopting Roman culture and dress etc.) as opposed to just accepting Roman rule and not trying to rebel all the time.

I halved the values mostly (the .75 I made .25). It seems to slightly affect it but not to the extent I would expect. I have even tried .001 and the rate was still higher than I would have thought.
One odd thing I did notice, is that as you progress in turns the conversion rate seems to decrease more dramatically the lower the modifier. I am wondering if the calculations make the modifier more severe each turn? Or perhaps I am missing something.
probly that all thos factions have + conversion rate built into buildings and tech along with Dignitaries so the natural conversion rate is going down but not all thos + conversion on the tech and buildings are not going down
