How do I change a faction's subculture?

Anyone figure this out? I can change a faction's culture in the startpos or save game file, but I can't find mention of the subculture (sc_rom_{subculture}). Can't seem to find it in the db either.

There is a table called cultures_subcultures_table under /db/ . That should be what you are looking for.

Edit: Nevermind, that will just let you change a sub culture's main culture...

There is the religion line in startpos under compressed data/campain env/campaign model/world/faction array/faction

For example, Carthage has rom_religion_punic, Rome has rom_religion_latin

Yeah. I saw where to change their culture (religion). Just haven't seen mention of the subculture. For kicks, I changed Parthia's culture to "rome_religion_nomadic," thinking it might "reset" its subculture. No go. That subculture modifier was still running somewhere in the background.

It seems to me like they got a little lazy in a lot of the tables. Quite a bit of the code refers to Shogun and even Empire, so they obviously reused the religion aspect for cultures. I can't seem to find where these overlap, though.

For anyone interested, the subculture information is in db\faction_tables. Be sure not to be a ninny like me and upgrade your pack file manager to the latest version in order to read the table.
