    Default Horse Skeleton and Model Base

    This is a sequel to my tutorial here:

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...on-into-Rome-2

    I mentioned how I was going to do a horse example in the near future. I decided to do this instead since it took a lot of trial and error originally and I wanted this to be simple. So instead I'm posting a resource where I did all the dirty work for you! Here's what you'll get in this rar file:

    1. An example of a proper horse cs2 file.
    2. A max project file with a vanilla Rome 2 horse in the set up you'll need.
    3. A dae file with a vanilla Rome 2 horse model in it.
    4. Horse texture files
    5. A Rome 2 horse skeleton file and bone table.
    6. A rules.bob file within the horse folder.

    https://www.mediafire.com/?40zfmomstd9wb8f

    How to Implement:

    1. Extract the rar file into this directory:

    Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War Rome II\assembly_kit

    2. When you have a new horse related model you wish to run through BOB you need to go into the rules.bob file in this location:

    Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War Rome II\assembly_kit\raw_data\VariantMeshes\VariantModels\horse\bodyparts

    and change the name in the file here:

    [+RigidModelV2]
    <Files> = horse.CS2
    AnimationType = horse_r2
    Texturefolder = VariantMeshes\_VariantModels\horse\bodyparts\tex\_
    TextureSubFolder =

    Change it from "horse" to whatever the name of your new model is.

    Notes:

    1. The horse model is supposed to be a base. You can add a new type of horse armor rig it to the horse skeleton and then go through the export process. If you want more insight on exporting and other tips go to my other tutorials here:

    2. Let me know if you have any problems and I'll adjust this accordingly to help people.

    So are there animations in this skeleton? Or is it just a horse skeleton? Because I am using it for a mount model and I can't see any animations with it in 3ds Max.
