Default That time of the year again.

Time for a much waited upgraded. I largely picked what i wanted, just looking for peoples critiscm, if any, on my selected components. Yes i know the VC isn't OMFG1337, but i'll get a better one latter. I'm curious however on the performence of DDR-2 ram, and the Dual core AMD processors, anyone who has them, i would appreciate your opinions on them.

Aussie dollars, for all of you. I envy the US's prices on computer parts, it's so freaking cheap, even after the conversion from AU dollar to US, it's still cheaper.

    http://www.pcmarket.com.au/4834_Lead...ce_7600_GT.php VC: $294.70

    http://www.pcmarket.com.au/5232_AMD_...rocessor_S.php CPU: $263.60

    http://www.pcmarket.com.au/4943_GeIL...512MB_800M.php RAM: $240.90

    http://www.pcmarket.com.au/5838_ASUS...I_Motherbo.php MOBO: $176.90

    http://www.pcmarket.com.au/6139_Cool...r_Supply_w.php PSU: $116.40

    Grand total:
    $1092.50

    To hell with DirectX 10!

Wouldn't suggest the motherboard myself. There have to be a cheaper AM2 motherboard out there. Expensive motherboards does very little for performance.
Thanks. I'll look for a cheaper mobo.

Ah, i found one for $122, shave about 50 bucks off the old price.
