Game of Thrones Custom Battle mod. Is it possible?

Hi, i'm new to modding, and I was wondering how you edit 3D models in an easy way and how you can potentially make new ones.
I had this idea of making a custom battle mod, with game of thrones in mind. Basically, I'd like to do the following.

- Change the faction names and banners
- Change all the unit to fit the game of thrones universe (armors, weapons etc.)
- Change the speech of units and generals alike, and if possible, even the cheering units make when routing an enemy
- Custom battle maps, maybe even settlements if possible (Not a priority, but I'd just like to know if it's possible)

Now I know this idea is very ambitious, and modding veterans will probably think it's completely stupid, will take too much time or simply too much for a newbie to handle.
But if it is possible, then how can I do it. And if it is not possible, then also explain why.

Yes, i'm aware that it's a little too ambitious lol
But it has to be possible to at least mod the units, it's been done several times now.

Maybe in the future it will be possible, but right now... its quite too soon to even start talking about it.
