    Default What's the meaning of "Modesty" and "Affinity" in the Preference editor ?

    When open the Preference editor and click "Other RSII parameters", then we can choose the fromation type and different garrison scripts, but I don't konw the funtion of these two items: "MODESTY" and "AFFINITY", is there any one who can help?

    Modesty covers up naked units' private areas.

    Dvk made an explanation somewhere during the last monnth. Affinity forces you processor to use only one core (if it has more than one).

    This is a stupid question... but does it increase your performance if you check the affinity box if you are running a multicore CPU?

    Sometimes; it depends on your setup. Forcing the game to run on one core in windows 7 greatly improved my performance, but on the same hardware running windows 8 there was no significant difference.

    Thank you, now I understand and also have found the explanation of "addinity" posted by DVk, it's very helpful.
