    No other mods at all. I have some other pack files in the data folder, but no other mods are activated in the mod manager.. I have also started steam and mod manager as admin

    Then that's really weird. It's working fine for me so it should work fine for everyone else, especially if no other mod conflicts.
    I can't find any reason why it shouldn't work, the game runs from the compressed data that is in the Pack file, that same data
    is what I'm running with and mine works, no CTDs or missing textures.

    Try this, rename the pack file to KAZIELS_ROMANS_V2, see if that does anything. I'm out of ideas lol

    Damn, still nothing. Even moved the unactivated pack files out of data folder. Also tried running the actual exe as admin in the root folder.

    I have been checking the units in custom battles but not campaign, could that be it?

    I'm not familiar with the GEM mod, but isn't it like a separate program? Does it have a Pack file you have to tick in the Mod Manager?

    Units should show up modified in custom battles too, if they don't then there's a problem. Okay so this is how it's working for me;

    1) Same Pack file is in my Data folder.

    2) Launch Game, then click the Official Mod Manager.

    3) Tick KAZIELS_ROMANS_V2, then launch.

    Are you doing the same thing?

    You're very welcome! Tried both version 2.1 and 2.2

    Ps: and I lied, I'm using Splenyi_Campaign_Camera.pack as well

    Edit: played before with 2.0. D/l again to see if that fixes the problem.

    I feel like a bit of a knob, lol. Never even saw the official mod manager in the launcher. I was used to using a separate mod manager program outside the launcher.
    Ticked it in there and all working now. Haha sorry man.

    I just reinstalled complete data and now it seems to work (the bright yellow is gone and instead the lighter brown is back), so I'm really sorry I blamed your mod ;-)
    Never noticed before no men of the first cohort wear red tunics though lol

    They now all work as it should be, so no error on your side, thanks again Octavian

    One question... (and yes I'm a 32 year old fool lol) in all .packs I never get my Generals to look as
    gorgeous as they are depicted on page 1. I only get them wearing Squamata armour, as do their whole unit.
    When using your general.pack its the same. As said at the moment using 2 other mods (AI radious and Spleny's Camera mod)
    I know I'm doing something wrong, but don't know what...

    Do any of the combat speed mods work with this? I remember seeing somewhere that the only way to change officers was in the land units tables and that usually conflicted with any mods that changed combat speed. Also, why does everyone have the same pattern on their shields? Was that changed from the shots in the first post or is it not working properly?

    I've explained in the OP about how to make the tables compatible, i.e. delete mine then insert the data in the main campaign/battle mod. For example;
    Land_Units_Tables, delete mine, then go into the other mod's table, and change Auxiliary Infantry's officer from Roman_Centurion to Roman_Marian_Centurion.
    As for the shields, which version are you using?

    Are you talking about a General or the General's Legatus unit? The General's should not be wearing Squamata, this must be
    coming from somewhere else, the Legatus Cavalrymen though all wear a form of Squamata Outfit.

    I don't see how an AI or Camera mod would be conflicting with this one. Anyone else have any ideas?

    I agree with you about not wanting to use Praetorians, but it's impossible to avoid the love for them. In this case, do you think it's possible to redo general's bodyguards as Praetorians (For Marian Legions)? You could chose between mounted and foot (Equites et Pedites). I think this would solve the problem nicely. Then the Imperial legions can have access to the Later Praetorian cohorts, as that's more accurate.

    Also, you could make an Urban Cohort, but expressly only as a garrison unit for high end (provincial capital) cities.

    Been trying to use the rome 2 mod manager for your mod and athalwulfs natural dye, but if yours is on natural dye doesnt work. Sorry im new at all this, what would you recommend Octavian?
