Is there a mod that RTW1'izes RTW2?

I'm sorry if this is a super basic question but I've been away from RTW2 for a long time and just gave it a re download on steam to see if it had gotten any better.

So my question is . . . is there any total conversion mod for RTW2 that will give it a whole host of improvements in terms of both UI and functionality on the battle maps? I'm not so concerned with the look of the units but I do hate the unit cards. I just feel that the actual battles are a muddy experience where on RTW1 there was a crispness to everything if that makes any sense.

Campaign is what it is on its core, but if you can look past that, battles are really nice atm in Rome2. It isn't the moshpit with crappy AI which it was on launch.

Can't say I know mods which RTW1'ise Rome 2. Regarding UI, I haven't seen "real" UI mods, but re-skins exist, to give some flavour.

For the unit cards I think this is propably my favourite unit-card mod of all time:
