1)Rome as a riform that changes completely their military structure (the marian reform) do other factions like Sparta got any changes or any particular reform??
2) I do not know how to build huge walls the buildings show only till large stone walls
only certain cities can build walls greater than large stone. so i know rome and syracuse
syracuse has walls of archimedes, with long battles, city wall defenses needed to be nerfed or sieges will be impossible - sure there are many ways to get out of actually sieging but thats besides the point.
as far as i know those are the only 2 cities capable of making walls with ballista on them.
but why the hell did they do that???large stone walls are the only walls that are bugged, they are the only one were units get stucked in the siege tower!! that is why in alexander they were removed, if u are attacking u manage to bypass it but if u are defending the AI is absolutely not able to and sometimes it happens on more than one siege tower and that changes copletely the result of the battle ( it is one of the reason I stopped playing rome)
now when I am playing Rome I stick with normal stone walls and when I am able to make huge ones I make them directly one after another, so I never have to fight with that bug
did they manage to solve it??? In that case I take everything back
yes the bug is still there...i guess dont make large stone walls in your own settlements... and when you siege the enemy, sap points are better than siege towers anyway
heck, large stone walls dont help much when your defending... its usually better to sit at town square and block the 2 entrances with phalanx/shield wall units and afk for an hour
Great. I didn't know that siege tower bug only happens on large walls (I really really hate that bug!). Im my opinion, all walls after the 1st stone wall tier should be removed: large stone wall due to siege tower bug and epic because it's too big and looks very stupid on the battlemap, also it nearly reaches the skybox whick makes camera view very inconvenient.

Yeah, epic stone walls remind me of the wall in Game of Thrones. I mean how do you buildthat?
Oh and Romans are the only ones who experience reforms, although there is regional recruitment so you get some variety.
