I dont really know much about the UK rap scene, but I hear good things.
Going by the most amount of songs from a single rapper on my playlists, I'd have to say my favorite m.c.'s are probably Nas, the Wu-Tang Clan, Twista, Common and The Fugees.
I cant really decide on a favorite, I like a lot of different m.c's and I like to just leave it at that.
Sage Francis, followed by some others.
Cool,cool.![]()

50 cent all the way!!!
Yeah totally! Nelly and Chingy are totally awesome, to the max!
Weird Al isnt an M.C., hes just a comedian...
You might as well claim that the rappin' granny is your favorite m.c.
Go granny, go granny, go!

I'm sorry, but every rapper mentioned in this thread will succumb to the omnipotent Will Smith.
Muhaha
Yeah, gettin' jiggy wit it and wild, wild west were classic singles...
50 cent, talib Kwali, mos def, kanye and defitnily lil jon
My favourites:
Vanilla Ice, Queen Latifah, MC Hammer, Kevin Federline, Will Smith, 50 Cents, M&M's....
These are horrible choices guys, youre really bumming me out with this...
(except talib and mos def)
They're not so great. Mos Def was in that stupid "Hithchikers Guide to Being a Retard" movie, that ruined all credibilty he had with me.Originally Posted by RZZZA

It has everything to do with his rapping. If he is such a dork as to appear in that god-forsaken piece of crap, then how can any of his rhymes be considered anything but dorky too? Unless he gets himself shot nine times, starts rapping about ho's and grillz, and sells his soul to the corporation, he is dead to me as a credible rapper.Originally Posted by RZZZA
Also, I think everyone can agree Soul Plane was a masterpiece for the ages. I mean, come on, a plane with spinners? Pure Genius.
The one & only Dr.Dre..and "his sidekick prodigy" Slim Shady..

I'm a fan of the least prolific rapper ever. Zack de la Rocha.
I think he's recorded about 4 songs since Rage broke up...
Still, I've yet to find a hip-hop artist I can connect with, apart from him. Thing is, its easy to say I like him due to Rage, but no matter how much I like the instrumental side to them (which, lets face it is anything but hip-hop), I do love his lyrics and vocals. Although they're more like hardcore/hip-hop fusion... oh well.
Funnily enough, I found a post-Rage recording I've not heard before just now here...
Thing I find is, this song basically helps sum up why I like ZdlR - his vocals. The other guys as part of that recording suit the sound of hip-hop I dont like.
Odd.

Real sorry coolkid but I had to say it.
My favourite rapper is (1) a dead one or (2) a mute and quadriplegic one.
Each to their own I guess.![]()
