CA breaking their word, again... Probably already working on a new total war game to release half completed. Starting to look like cod...

No but serious, sorry for my ranting. Does anyone know when the patch is gonna be here? Can't seem to find it anywhere.

if everything goes well patch 3 and 4 release next week, probably a big patch if it needs to be delayed.

Hell I haven't been able to launch Steam all day much less play Rome II. Did that last night as well as it was trying to download some new patch or update from steam. (I subscribe to the beta patches) Not really understanding what CA is doing right now. though its frustrating the out of me

The beta of patch 3 was released last Friday. They have not made it the 'official patch' as of yet but plan to next week. So if you opt in your playing patch 3 if your not then your still on patch 2

It has been sucked up into the black hole with everything else we were promised. Yeah what happened to the Patch this week? What happened to the Optimisation? What Happened to the graphics? What happened to the Ai ? Re everything to do with Rome 2 it can be summed up in “What the happened”? !!!

Well Patch 3 will be released next week, but I guess 80% are playing already with patch 3 beta, so nothing will change. Patch 4 probably in 2 weeks from now, Beta earlier...

And yeah, CA again broke their promises, surprised? I'am not!

No. I'm just an angry customer who has payd 54 euros for this game and now wants to collect his "warranty" so to speak, because the game doesn't deliver what was promised, and what I bought it for. Now tell me, if your pc breaks down, you call the company that built it, and they don't deliver new parts within reasonable time which they promised, wouldn't you be pissed really bad? That's how I feel right now.

So you're still "believing" in them and their hard work? The question is if CA is really working hard on the patches or if they already working on DLCs, add-ons,... I hardly believe they concentrate on patching, or this would go way faster.

Just notice them patching the beta patch since 2 weeks now without many changes, while Radious just on his own could improve the campaign gameplay in a few days more than the whole CA team,... and he only can work at the evening, because he has a real job. Don't fool yourself, maybe 1-2 guys are working for 1-2 hours a day on the patches, and I bet they're not very motivated seeing their outcome.

Give CA a break for a change, no patch this week yes, but with the official patch 3 early next week, and Beta 4 also next week, then it seems that at least CA are putting in some reasonable effort into sorting this mess. 4 patches(if you include a Beta) within 1 month of release isn't bad going. It's more than other companies that have released botched games. Although I am a little peeved I think it's time to try and be patient for a while. After all they have DLC to sell us yet!

They need to deserve a break in order for one to be given, I really like Rome II but they need to understand just how bad they've screwed up ( Now, and before ).

As the patch has fixed Urban battles (not full siege battles yet) I'm happy. Color me surprised when I fought with a garrison and expected to watch the troops run through my men and die when they stopped and attacked, I almost flipped out. Shocked me.

Currently though Fortification battles don't work, they will make your game crash, so yea, they need more time to fix this patch before it goes live.

EDIT: Spoke too soon, units are still running through my garrison in another fight. Dunno why they worked for one.
