MERCENARY BANDS and CONTRACTS

This is where you can find the presently available mercenary bands and contract them.
You will also find their prices, the composition of their troops and any special features they may have here.
'Variable' prices mean you'll actually have to negotiate the price with the company's leader.

Sellsword players may choose to join one of these existing companies or create their own, in the latter case they'll be added here as well.

To prevent mercenary hoarding, each company can only be contracted for 3 years max, with a 1 year waiting period before they can be hired again.
In addition to prevent mercenary hoarding, the following limitations are implemented
- Lord Paramounts and the King may only be allowed to hire 2 sellsword companies at a time
- All vassal houses and lower may only be allowed to hire 1 sellsword company at a time

NPC Sellsword companies take 1 year (7RL days) to arrive for service. If they are hired mid-year (eg after a monday) they will serve for 3 years and then remain in service until the end of the 3rd year, if they are hired early year (monday or before) then they will serve the remainder of that year and the next two years.
