MOD MANAGER WHERE DO I INSTALL IT

Just after downloading the mod manager quiet new to the modding side of things where do you install it does it go on your desktop or into your data files can anyone help please.

Doesnt matter, i put the files i downloaded in a folder somewhere random on my pc, and now i just use the shortcut. It's quite simple really, click the shortcut, wait for the program to open, unmark the boxes on the right and then mark the boxes of the mod you wanna activate. Hope this helps
