    Default Application load error

    Hello every one I'm back, long time no see, and missed this cool mod badly...

    big problem though:

    I have a new pc and installed steam on C: drive , and steam library on 2nd drive and it looks like this: D:\SteamLibrary

    In D:\SteamLibrary is installed ETW and works like a charm.
    Then, installed APE-TI in dir:
    “D:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Empire Total War”

    when I try to run APE-TI, I get:
    “Application load error 5:0000065434”

    However I can still play ETW vanilla with no problems.
    Do I have to uninstall ETW and reinstall it on C: ? (which I would like to avoid due to limited drive space...)

    Please Help ….

    I have exactly the same power. And I installed the game in D:\ too.

    Go to : %appdata% - The Creative Assembly - Empire - Scripts

    Create a txt file named : user.empire_script and put this :

    Code:
    mod apeti_customcampaign.pack;mod apeti_modcore.pack;
    mod apeti_skins.pack;
    mod apeti_graphics.pack;
    mod apeti_DLC.pack;
    mod mod_smokeblood.pack;
    mod mod_xstraps.pack;
    save as unicode

    And it is fixed !

    It is a truly useful info – but, I took the easy way: bought a 1 Tera Hard drive – installed OS and steam on it , thus is OK now.

    Hello,

    I have exactly the same issue. I installed steam on C-Drive and Empire Total War on E:Games/SteamApps. Then I installed APE:TI in E:Games/SteamApps/Common/Empire Total War.
    After this I created the file user.empire_script.txt as Goutlard suggested, but it still get the Application-error.
    Is there any other solution to this problem instead of reinstall steam and the games on C:?

    You are probably better off asking in a general / steam help thread -- this isn't anything to do with the mod, and not even with Empire. It's a steaming pile of crap thing.

    There's the tech help for Empire too: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forum...Technical-Help

    I know nothing about steam other than that it makes some things easier for Shogun II and after games, but is only an impediment for Empire.
