given the way the game code handles weapons and armour etc. ive decided Im gonna start digging into the option to allow in game choosing of unit equipment and training. No idea if its even possible.

so you pick your unit size (number of troops) main and backup weapon, armour type (or none), shield or none.

Then dependant on those choices you can then assign training to use/ exploit those weapon choices.

I think instead of particular buildings/tech unlocking troops. they would unlock weapons and/or abilities.

don't have lots of time on my hands so only a few hours or so max each day.

  • i need to unlock the tech tree
  • alter the building mechanics
  • figure out how to implement in game unit equipping/training.


any advice or if a more experienced member wishes to run with this idea please do.
