need help modding DMS
HI I want to change some stats of the units in the the Darthmod I have downloaded from steam
I have done a similar procedure in Darth mod for Napoleon but here I am completely lost and I do not know where to start
if someone could please give me a hand I would really apreciate
Thanks
ps: The things I want to do are quite simple like reducing the bonus for the ashigaru back as it was in the vanilla, or the radio of the hojo Mortars as it was in the vanilla cause now they are useless

According to your claim, you seem to know how the PFM works. So, open Darthmod's pack file with the PFM and look for the table "units_stats_land". There, you can change the stats of all units like manpower, attack, defense etc.
In order to change projectiles like the mortars, you have to edit the "projectiles" table.

Re: need help modding DMS
Thanks
do u think it is possible to restore all the unit stats exactly as they were? and is there a way fast to do it? because I liked as they were the only modification that I am going to keep is the increased radio of the mongonel (catapults). will this create problems?
and what about the unit that are in the garrison that darth added like for example all the dojo samurai?

Re: need help modding DMS
Unfortunately, there is no quick way if you want to keep the Darthmod units.
- Open the file data.pack (total war shogun 2/data) with the PFM and go to db->unit_stats_land. There you will find the vanilla unit stats.
- Open a second instance of the PFM and open DM's unit_stats_land file.
- Coppy the vanilla stats into DM.
- Units added by Darthmod don't have vanilla stats. Create new ones for them or copy stats from similar items.
