Changing In-Battle Tooltips For Toggleable Abilities and Formations

Could anyone help me out with this? I've made changes to what buffs and debuffs are given when assuming a specific formation, i.e. Hoplite Phalanx. I want the in-game tooltip to reflect this.

The vanilla tooltips are clearly visible in unit_abilities_tables, but changing them has no effect in game. I double checked that the changes I made here were applied to my pack file, and to no avail.

Any help?

Those things are usually coming from the loc tables because they need to be translated, take a look there.
