I have tried out the unlimited blood file, and it doesn't seem to work for me. Blood splatter still disappears rather quickly. Am i doing something wrong?

Same here the blood still disappears.
Blood will only remain on ground if the file format is set to "Movie" type
Well I just tried to make a simple Pack File containing better Blood Re-Textures I just made.
Problem is in game I tried to test through a custom battle, I could not see a difference.
So I re-coloured the blood to neon-blue just to be safe, tested and blood still red. Seems
like I missed something or we're just not allowed to mod the Blood Textures yet.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
The surface blood is works as rigid.model that is post processed via a vfx file. In that file the length of a rigid_model can be changed. Also you can change size differences, how many rigids that will appear etc. Tough not all effects has a rigid connected to it. Some are pure effects, so the color of spurting blood should be changeable, I dont know about the surface blood as it is a model. But I'll check it out and report what I find!
As for your second question, I think that is moddable, also in the vfx files. Hopefully that is not made in the encrypted fxc-files!
Yep I've re-textured all dds files that are in the vfx folder and also another folder in the variant_models tree. I see no change on the battle map.
As a definite test, I re-coloured to neon-blue like I said in my previous post, yet in-game it's still all red
EDIT: Another thing I noticed which was unusual, is that the files ending with _diffuse are in an Interpolated Alpha state. I wonder, if I change it
to the most basic form... back to testing lol

Ok I just tested with _Diffuse files in the most basic format. Game crashed hahaha!
Will revert and try in Movie format. But I thought Movie Formats are obsolete and won't work with
the new Mod Managers. I read that somewhere on this website a while ago.
EDIT: Right so Blue Blood DDS files still don't show up in game even if the Pack file is set in
Movie Format. I give up for now, I want to have some game time after such heavy modding!
Thanks for trying to help me

movie format do not work with mod managers, but it will always load as long as it's in the data folder. My mods wont work in mod format, so maybe putting yours in movie will make it work!
for me too, blood keeps on disappearing...i added it by myself to another mod. the mod worked, but the blood disappeared.
so your code seems to not work.
anyways, great idea, i hope you'll fix this soon

Everything's working fine for me. Awesome job on this, it really makes an aftermath look much more immersive and generally badass.
Nice work, thanks !
Is this mod still updated? I would love to see it for the Emperor's Edition.
Seems download link dosen't work So I'll update it anyway
