Icon7 Army names and what you all call your armies?

Thought this might be interesting and maybe inspiring to check into. e.i. what everyone out there are naming their armies, either by situation based name or maybe by some pattern like the romans (legio I, etc). Whereas my self i got no vivid imagination.. I currently name my armies after a certain order, for instance as Sparta i call em "Hoplon I ..." and somethin depending on their occupation and i follow that pattern.

Also i couldn't find any history on what armies where called back in the ancient time, except for the romans of course. I'm Curious to know if the greeks use to call their armies(if they even did)?

I usually leave them but sometimes rename them in the vein of what CA's list. For example in my Pontus campaign Mithridates survived quite long and won a lot. The army was upgraded and became elite very fast so I renamed them 'Mithridatic Guard' in his name. They are currently the biggest, have a lot of high-tier units and always get a general from my family. Another army, I recruited in Cappadocia so the 'Guard' could attack without public order issues so they became Cappadocia's finest. They have higher proportions of cavalry and hillmen compared to other armies. Also, due to the common use of Purifying Flames/Brazen Bears by AI factions, if I ever get them, I'll change that to ANYTHING.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I am me. You are not me. You are you. If I was you, I wouldn't be me.
If you were me, I'd be sad.But I wouldn't then be me because you'd be me so you wouldn't be me because I wasn't me because you were me but you couldn't be because I'd be a different me. I'd rather be any kind of bird (apart from a goose) than be you because to be you I'd have to not be me which I couldn't do unless someone else was me but then they would be you aswell so there would still be no me. They would be you because I was you so to restore balance you would have to be me and them meaning all three of us would become one continously the same. That would be very bad.

Whatever comes to my mind, really.

Playing as the Barbarians, Arverni, I named my main armies "The Angry Boys" and "The Tableflippers" (inspired by a documentary where the raiding barbarians always flipped the tables in settlements)
On my Roman campaign, the names are rather boring, so I name them stuff like "Justicars", "Wrath of Mars", "Legio Fido"(Hint: It has a lot of war dogs)

Ye feels like a lot of armies, especially the greeks, are called upon the same names for instance - The gods of war, defenders of olympus and so on. Not really that attractive when facing an army "called Ares" wrath with your own "Ares wrath". Wonder how many different names CA came up with?
