Default Shogun 2 Files in Rome II?

Any idea why CA would leave Shogun 2 files in Rome II? It has to be a mistake. Unless they're planning on expanding Rome II and bring in Japan somehow during their first Empire. Personally, I think it was a mistake.

Same reason that Empire files are still in Shogun 2: nobody got around to removing them even though they were no longer used.

It´s nothing new to find "artefacts" from previous titles in video games. This is nothing TW specific, it happens all the time. Everywhere.
Much more interesting would be if those files can be used for some R2 mod. Tried anything with that?

You can see Fallout 3 coding in the Skyrim game.

RTW1 files were in the files of MedII. It's something that all developers do. Instead of taking out old content, it's much easier to leave some of it sitting around, just deactivated. It's nothing new in software development.

Rome 1 files were also in Medieval 2.

I remember this exact statement about Shogun 2, people complained about how there were Napoleon files in Shogun 2, and blamed that for its massive size.
