Starting to like unit cards now and their style after initial thoughts they were ugly, I do however think the general card needs to stand out more from the normal unit card tho.
Anyone else coming around to the vanilla unit cards?.

In My Opinion I See That The Vanilla Unit Cards Are Good .... I Like It !
Ugly things growing on you? STD? You ought to see the doctor.
My only real complaint when playing R2 was that the damn cards were too big/took up half of my monitor. Other than that I wasn't too fussed about how they looked
Unit cards are just ugly to be honest. They look like done in a rush...
Very good rocking song. The message of the song: WHEN PEOPLE LEARN TRUTH ABOUT UKRAINIAN WAR, THEY WILL GO INSANE!! (I suggest to turn the english subtitles on. Its over 18only because of violent pictures) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AAR6nUV7VI
They're supposed to look like Classical amphorae art. Not rushed at all.
I have started to like them, they are one thing I like about the UI, but there is already mods for people who don't to change them. Altought unit info-cards (when you right click) I would like to see similar what Medieval 2 had alongside the unit-cards.
One thing I don't like is the size of them, too big, but you can hide them, but still... Other areas of UI could need work too, like the events tab seems half-finished in functions, and for example you need to click way too many times to get info on agents in armies and such, when all of the info could be shown in one sheet... Lots of little things, but unit-crads, those I like, specially the greeks, they look great.
The only thing I distinctly dislike about them is that so many units are so alike. Particularly the various hoplites and pikemen.
And then there is the lack of quickly determined information. Like numbers of men left, but that isn't about how the cards look, but rather a UI decision.
Otherwise I rather like the idea behind the cards, and in general like them. There are stinkers though.
Stupidity is the natural state of human beings; brilliance is when we fail at stupidity.
Speaking of which...
I am ever more reminded of this guy when browsing certain threads.
Who is it that`s got malware here this time? I`nm getting more suspicious of some of these posts because they give me a Malware warning - Something I`ve never seen until recently. What`s going on?
Anyway. I like the UI cards, yes, they are a little difficult to immediately interpret because they are more evocative of the ancient times (more Greek than Roman).. A truly Roman design would be even better.
But if you guys give it time, the brain adapts to the design. But then again i`m one of those guys who would`ve loved if the Romans also spoke authentic Latin, even if I wouldn`t understand a word!
I`d learn.
Unfortunately the brain adapts to crap as well..
its like with smoking...first time smoker inhales and start coughing like crazy..so his body tells him this isbut he keeps doin it..
then eventually his brain and body give up on sending more signals...until years later but thats another story
i dont like them. really not.. but hey its what it is.!
I'm indifferent. I dislike the art work but it gets the job done.
I still hate them, but even more i hate the fact i can`t see how many men there are left, if i see green bar going down, it tells me nothing. If i see number of men going down from 160 to 80, i see something is badly wrong and that section needs reinforcements.
Apologies for anyone who's message i may miss or not be able to answer
I don't like them at all. I want to see unit numbers, armour and weapon upgrades as well as experience.

The thing I don't like the most about the cards is the number of men is shown out of the max possible men in a unit. This is contrasted to every other TW game I have played where it is the number of men currently in the unit out of the total number the specific unit started the battle with. It made it a lot easier to know how my units were doing. When the battle is a few skirmishes in, how am I supposed to know if the 50/160 unit has lost 100 men or 5? Also, the green bar has got to go. Either by a mod or CA I really hope it gets changed eventually.
Still hate them as much, if not more, as the day I saw them for the first time.
They don't represent the actual unit accurately, barely noticeable flashing when the unit is routing, Health Bars total betrayal of Total War games, unit status icon too big and in absolutely the worst position ruining even that little aesthetic appeal the drawings have.
As Big Jim Rennie would say: "A total clustermuck. "
