Transparent unit positions

Is it possible from the options menu or something to turn off the transparent unit positions and go back to the yellow circles like in previous games?
I mean that feature when you press spacebar to see where your units will stop and how youve placed them, it slows down my framerate to about 10 or 5 fps and I cant find any option that removes it.

None that I know of. But what game had the yellow circles? I've only ever seen transparent troops when using spacebar.

Shogun 2, for instance, used arrows and symbols to show troops' orders when holding spacebar.

Ah, never did anything much with it. Apparently its yet another feature not transferring from the series proper, as I poked around and found nothing like it in RTW2.

Well not circles exactly, tryangles or whatever. In previous games you only had the ground indicators the game didnt render your whole units and it destroys my pc everytime I hit space or if I try repositioning my whole army.

Yep, I'd like to have these transparencies removed as well. It often effectively results in rendering my entire army twice and kills the framerate. P.S. I've an i5 3570k and GTX 770.
