An Appeal to FATW Fans
Dear FATW fans,
As developers we rely heavily on not only contributions from skilled modders, but also the free tools and online resources that allow our mod to grow and flourish. One of the most important services we use is the TWC forum. A few years ago there were other modder-orientated forums for Total War games, but TWCenter has become the only viable one today. It hosts our public forums, our developer forums, our outsource forums, private messaging, and allows us to share files. It is critical to our progress.
For the past few months TWCenter has had a lot of issues with speed and reliability. To be honest, it has affected the rate at which the mod has developed because it has deterred us from communicating and posting as freely as we'd like. It has also put others off from helping us.
Today TWCenter has announced the need for new hardware due to the site's unexpected rise in popularity and are seeking to purchase that hardware in the next few weeks rather than in 2014 (as originally planned), but that requires more money. So they are asking for donations. If you can help (with as little as $1 donation via credit card or PayPal), or by purchasing items through TWC's store, then do know you will also be helping us
