Hi, is there a way to take existing units and add them to other factions? Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi, I'm having trouble adding the entry to the building_units_allowed_tables. What is the Key column used for in the Pack File Manager?

it pretants to the units ID number more or less. Custom made units need a brand new key number to work but ones that are already in the game may not need a new one you can use the one that they already have. I hope im explaining that right.

Crazy question, when moving units from one roster to another, does it recolor them automatically to the correct faction colors or do you need to create a texture for that with the correct colors??

I want to give the Numidian factions and African factions a little love im thinking... Numidia needs some love if you ask me, so ill basically steal units from other major nations to for a little bit thicker than 3 unit roster i hope. and the Africans i just want to add 1 or 2 more units for at least some roster use

If we do not need to change ids then why we should have building units table for giving a unit from one faction to another? All entries will be the same as vanilla, won't they? If the unit will be recruited in the same buildings (e.g. giving a unit from one Greek faction to another Greek faction), it is not needed. But if you add a new building or factions belong to different culture and you have to add new buildings then you must use new ids.

also to make a note that some units if added well be added to the garrison as well bloating them to huge lvls like my mod just suffered thru. But like i just learned you can more or less copy the unit you want and add a new "unit" like IMP_Ill_Cav for Illryain Cav and a new key to separate it from the garrison system so your garrisons wont bloat up in size

I tried to put Eastern Cataphracts to the Roman faction, by adding them in buildings (Rome military 3 and 4) and in the Roman faction. It had a number "unknown" that I left at 0 while other units had a number there.

Cataphracts didn't show up in my custom battles.
    Can someone help please?

Adding unit permissions to buildings makes them recruitable in the campaign, not custom battles. Also you have to add a number for the unit in the key column.
