    Default Vassal

What's happening when you become a vassal of a faction. I know that you are ally with them. I am asking the economy. You don't have a free economy? I mean even if you earn so much, it goes to your protector? and how can a country become vassal of two factions?

No you can only be under one "protector". For sure, you gain alliance, trade rights and military access but half your money go to your "protector". I am not sure if you pay automatically any money per turn..

Ive never actually been a vassal before, but my understanding is that... Yes, half your income every turn goes to the state you are a vassal of.
Also all your lands count toward that states total count for winning objectives.

But, if you're in a tight spot and about to be wiped out (say your Scotland and England is about to destroy you), its a better option then losing the game...
at least until you can find a way to break off the shackles and punish your former overlord soundly
