Icon5 Steam weirdness: Is it supposed to do that?

So I have got the mod for my steam version of total war. I thought the game ran totally fine save for the ungodly loading times and the occasional crash. However I think the game might be having some issues: For starters, the first turn of every campaign I start I have no armies, no generals, no nothing except my starting settlements. Instead they all appear on the second turn. This happens every time for every race. This means I can't do anything on the first turn. The second problem I am having is that I never seem to get any missions. Are they disabled this version? I know I have seen missions being done in videos I have seen of the mod have missions for the player to complete, so it leaves me to wonder if there is something wrong with mine. I really just want to know if this is happening to everyone or if I should try to re-install. Thanks for the help in advance.

    1. It's supposed to be so. It seems it does'nt work anyway else, was that way in most or even all earlier versions of the mod.
    2. I do get missions seldom and they're rare for me too.I'd say patience.

Welp, this mod isn't final and has still a long way to go bugs and alike will surely happen. If you find more go and check the bugs & technical issues subforum before starting new threads for every issue.

Well... Thanks mate. I guess that means I won't have to install it again.
