your support is amazing! thanks a lot.
so we can clearly say: we need rectangular shields for mycenae. the shields and helemts are difficult to get
hittites and egyptians are the easiest to make, as we have all needed stuff already.
first units will be done soon!

im gonna use them as official faction names!
one question: is the dacian helmet 4th or 14th century BC?
can we use the illyrian helmet for any faction?

The Dacian helmet is 4th century BC, but I was guessing it would look similar to earlier helmets.
What exactly do you mean by Illyrian helmet?
BTW,
Heres a 1000 BC Carpathian diadem:
And a map(probably most helpful with northern Europe)

Do you even need to ask... I'VE COURSE MAKE A BRONZE AGE MOD! It'll be amazing. Might need to hold your aspirations back until we get a model importer/exporter though, either from CA or the talented community.

came across some pics of bronze age warriors from the ukraine
looks like it would take a lot of custom work, but just thought i'd put it in for reference of another culture
ah cool, how was that carpathian helmet worn?
you think the druidic elmet would be appropriate as a placeholder for this?
this is the illyrian helmet:

Illyrian helmets are originally from Argos in Greece, but because they found a lot in illyria they named it like that, the same with the Thracian helmets.
Spears, swords and daggers from much greek cities, maybe you need it

don't think this was posted yet, so here's a reference sheet for a bunch of cultures. I think #6 might be a Canaanite/Phoenician (warning: picture is huge)

Dude,i WANT this mod,
Im guessing the carpathian helmet was worn curls up, and the Illyrian helmet could perhaps be modified into a mycenean helmet?
Anyways, heres a dump on helmets and art:
Villanovan central European helmet:
A collection of central european Bronze age helmets:
A Minoan javelineer:
A collection of mycenean and Aegean helmets:
A picture of a Bronze age Mycenaean reenactor:
a picture of a philistine spearman:
and finally a representation of a andronovo culture warrior, from the eastern edge of the caspian sea:
says here that they were worn by women, so might have been like a tiara with the curls up and in the back of the head http://www.metmuseum.org/toah/works-of-art/2000.281.1 it also says on wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diadem) that it was a crown worn by royalty, so it might not have been a military headdress, but still looks pretty cool and could be worn by a general maybe

the Philistine art is anachronistic though. It is more contemporary with the David era. I don't know exactly when the Philistines emerged. But if they were Cretan or Achaen (most of the evidence, but not all of it, points that direction) I would think they would have equipment similar to Mycenaeans.
Prince of Judah:
I suppose your right, but more research might be needed to know for sure
its a general guideline anyways
