Have anyone else experienced a strange bug where the entire campaign map turns to water, and then the game crashes to desktop?

During my entire 200-turn Roman campaign I never experienced this once, but it has made playing as Parthia impossible (crashes every turn) and it also happened in turn 20 of my new Iceni campaign. It seems to occur on completely random occasions, as I have experienced it both before going into battle, trying to build something, moving an army or agent etc.

Are any other members familiar with this bug, and do you know what causes it?

(if there's already a thread about this, I'm apparently just lazy, but I couldn't find anything when googling)
